Conrad's 7th Birthday Party

I wanted to do a Lego Party, but Conrad wanted a ninja party. So we compromised and settled on Lego Ninjago Party.  His favorite Ninja is Kia, the red ninja.

Food Table:

Everything I could get my hands on I spray painted read and added Ninjago eyes. I made the eyes by enlarging an image I found on the web and printed it on label sheets.
These are black paper lanterns I had from Halloween.

This is a plastic tub that held pretzels at one time.  It looked just like a Lego head to me.  It is filled with the treats for the party guest, individual lego figurines I found at Walmart.

Ninja Juice: These are strawberry Crush.  I took the labels off and added some more ninja eyes.

Just in case someone didn't like the Ninja Juice, we had Ninja water.

All the boys got to make their own cupcakes. I had homemade frosting, blue, white, red and black for all the ninja colors!!

The boys also got to make their own sushi.  Rice Krispy bars and some candy. They loved them!!

When everyone arrived at the party they made their own Ninja belts.  Just some white material and markers.

I couldn't forget about the door decoration.  I wrapped a grapevine wreath in red crepe paper and of course added more ninja eyes.

You can't come to a ninja party and not have some kind of training.  Every Ninja needs to be able to get by lasers....

The boys in their Ninja head wraps.  I dyed white undershirts red and found a tutorial online on how to tie them.  I thought they turned out great!!

And of course you know you can't get 10 boys together without a little football game starting up.

  3. My 5 year old is wanting a Ninjago birthday party for December. I found a link to this awesome party on Pinterest! You have got some GREAT ideas and, honestly... some of the easier ones I've seen! Yours actually seem like things that boys will want to do!! haha! Surely I can't be the only Mom who looks at these parties on Pinterest and things to myself "my son would never do that kind of stuff!" LOL! Anyway... great party!
